Seasonal
Nature has impeccable timing.
There is something rather wonderful about an ingredient that knows when to make an appearance.
The first asparagus of spring. Summer tomatoes, warm from the sun. Figs so ripe they are almost beyond saving. The arrival of winter citrus, just when everything else seems to have given up.
A strawberry grown out of season may look the part, but appearances, as we know, can be terribly misleading.
At Draw, we believe that understanding the seasons is as important as knowing how to cook. Knowing what is growing, what is at its best, and what is worth waiting for.
Here, we follow the changing seasons, celebrating the growers, the harvests, and the ingredients that deserve our attention.
Because good food begins long before anyone picks up a knife.
And quite frankly, nature has better judgement than most of us.
